This annual event is a fund raiser, with the amount brought in by the "victim" going to the Program which the "victim" designates.  This year a total of $1,219.00 was divided as follows:
Carville Star Special Fund -- $500.00
George Boland Nurses Training Fund -- $229.00
POW/MIA Scholarship Fund -- $105.00
Box Car Association -- $256.00
Ardery Child Welfare Trust -- $129.00

When no meetings were in progress, Voyageurs found a way and a purpose for meeting.

Throughout the weekend Grand Garde de la Porte Gil Lovelady stayed busy collecting "fines."  Here at the 3rd Grand Cheminot on Sunday he is watching Johnny Square and Eldon Guidry for violations as Charley Parent digs for a dollar.

Grand Correspondant Hank Kwiatkowski is at the podium introducing special guests -- National Officers, current and past -- out of State visitors -- new Voyageurs who were initiated Saturday morning.

Chuck Rodgers, Voiture 1588, brought out his guitar.  After some convincing arguments from Dudley LeBlanc, Voiture 1038, Chef Terry gave his voice to the performance.  He said that he has sucessfully resisted the temptation to sing Karaoke for years, but this was just too much.
